Wanna know what I did yesterday?

Probably not but Imma tell you anyway.

I got second degree burns over most of my right side. It hurts.

I was making popcorn and I dropped the pot of hot oil and it splashed out onto my stomach and right arm.

Its really icky looking and I have to smear this stuff that looks like cake frosting on it everyday for ten days.
They gave me vicodin(sp) though.

I managed to work around boiling hot water for 6 hours yesterday and nothing. I get home for ten mintues and burn myself XD I win the prize for being dumb.

I learned an important life lesson though...don't make popcorn in your underwear.

And....my sisters being mean to me about it. She all "Well its not the only time you've been stupid" and thankfully I wasn't all hopped up on the pain meds yet because after that I was calling her any mean name I could think of....but she wasn't on the phone anymore D:

So yea XD FUN TIMES.

I was getting ready to watch a movie XD...usually I wear my pj's but they were in the wash...so comphy undies were the next best thing lol.

Ohmigosh! That soo sucks, but I'm glad to hear you're doing better!

What ever happened to microwave kind though??? O_o I've never heard of using oil.

*giggles* I wish I could roam around in little clothing, but I doubt my room mate would appreciate that!

and i think i know what that cake-frosting looking stuff is... do you spray it on? cos we got something for burns like that. and when you touch it it goes all bubbly and melty and feels all chilly

The cake frosting comes in a jar. Its not really to sooth the burn(though it does) its to keep bacteria from getting into the open wounds the blisters leave...that sounds really gross XD

I'm doing great today. Tomorrows gonna suck XD I've gotta go into work and that means no pain meds x.x

I don't like the microwaved kind XD The kind I make is sorta close to what you get at the movie theater...its just un-popped corn and then you toss it into some hot oil and shake it around. Its much much better..as long as you don't drop the pot lol.

Ah the joy of living alone. It never occured to me that it was odd to wander around the house in your undies but..alot of people are telling me I'm weird XD
